Terms of Service

Kinetic Pricing provides pricing research tools for software businesses, including free pricing-page teardowns and paid pricing studies that collect and analyze survey responses. We may improve or modify features over time; if we materially reduce the functionality of a paid study you've purchased, we'll make it right.

You need an account to run studies. You're responsible for the accuracy of the email address on your account and for keeping access to that inbox secure, since we use email-based sign-in. You must be at least 18 years old and using the service on behalf of a business or professional activity.

Paid studies are priced as listed at checkout (from $149 per study, depending on the research method) and are processed securely by Stripe. Prices are in U.S. dollars and exclude any applicable taxes, which you are responsible for.

Because a study consumes real analysis work once launched, payments are generally non-refundable after your study has gone live and begun collecting responses. If a technical failure on our side prevents your study from launching or completing, contact us and we will re-run the study or issue a full refund.

You retain ownership of everything you submit — pricing pages, product descriptions, study configurations — and of the reports generated for you. You grant us a limited license to process this content solely to provide the service. You're responsible for ensuring you have the right to submit the content you provide.

When you distribute a study link, you're responsible for how you recruit respondents, including complying with any applicable laws and platform rules. Don't use studies to collect sensitive personal information from respondents.

You agree not to:

• Use the service for any unlawful purpose or to infringe anyone's rights.
• Attempt to probe, disrupt, or gain unauthorized access to the service or its infrastructure.
• Resell or white-label the service without our written permission.
• Submit content that is malicious, deceptive, or that you don't have the right to use.

Our analyses and study results are research tools, not guarantees. Pricing decisions remain yours, and we make no promises about revenue outcomes. The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Kinetic Pricing will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or lost profits or revenues. Our total liability for any claim arising from these terms or the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.

You may stop using the service and request account deletion at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. Sections that by their nature should survive termination — including payment obligations, disclaimers, and limitation of liability — will survive.

We may update these terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll notify you by email or in the product before the changes take effect. Continuing to use the service after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.
